金正隆四年，王世轩所在的家乡关中牛头村严重缺水，王世轩不忍看到村民受此灾难，独自一人前往终南山寻找水源。在甘河镇，寻水无果的王世轩走投无路，想要拔剑自刎，却被贵人所救，传其乾阴功、坤阳剑，并待王世轩刻苦练成后，将水源所在如实告知。寻水路上，王世轩救出叶三娘等人，一行人前往桑麻村疗伤。村民中有人贪图富贵，暗中向贪官走狗唐天鹰告密。王世轩与叶三娘被唐天鹰逼到悬崖处，不愿受辱，跳崖自尽。谁成想两人大难不死，在谷底得一时安全，但都身负重伤。王世轩为叶三娘输送真气，并将太极拳静养之法传授给叶三娘，二人在地宫打坐修炼。修行后，决心去讨伐唐天鹰，为侠肝义胆的志士们算账，最终合力将唐天鹰杀死，为民除害。。The story of the Korean War is told through powerful color imagery, dramatic musical score and sound-scape.
