Among the Inuit community, they will discover the charms of the local customs and their friendship will be challenged.。该剧讲述了张澜先生一生致力于探索救国、民主、自强之路曲折的奋斗历程，在决定中国前途和命运的关键时期，各民主党派始终坚定地站在一起互相支持，荣辱与共的历史事件。。时任国家体委主任的贺龙（王天鹏饰）元帅，得知香港籍运动员杨国光（梁同裕饰）比赛累的吐了血，立即驱车前去看望。并安排女队员黎吉模（宝珉饰）帮助护理。杨国光非常感谢元帅的关心，出院后毅然留在国内。在巴黎乒乓球邀请赛中未能夺冠，他很难过，此时元帅非但没有责备他，反而宴请他，给了他很大信心。终于在世乒赛中为祖国夺得第一个冠军，回国后，他担任了女队教练，在日常训练和生活中，他与黎吉模产生感情，贺龙看出端倪，于是巧牵红线撮合。杨和黎心存感激，训练更加刻苦，出国比赛时，元帅带病到机场送行。他们不孚众望，夺得了女子团体冠军。回国后，他们没能再见到元帅，文革开始了......。
