1947年北京沁芳居酱菜铺老板严振声，因为哥哥帮自己去河北买大豆时路遇国军抢劫而死，为尽孝道从小过继给舅舅的严振声，要在妻子林翠卿之外，为亲生父亲俞老爷子再娶一房媳妇，为俞家传宗接代。俞老爷子看上了一心为父亲治病的牧春花，虽然是因为孝道娶妻，严振声和牧春花在接触中两人感情渐深。1950年新婚姻法颁布，严振声和牧春花离婚，在以后几十年的岁月里，严振声、牧春花、林翠卿一家仍然相互扶持，风雨共担。Captain Lee and his returning crew Kate and Ashton are joined by six new crewmembers of board luxury MY Valor, as they traveled to Southeast Asia to explore the exotic waters of Thailand, Kate faces challenges with new chef, Kevin, as first time, Bosun Ashton tries to maneuver his way around managing a crew of his own.
