在离圣诞节还有159天的时候，驴子（艾迪·墨菲 Eddie Murphy 配音）便三番五次突然出现，提醒史瑞克（迈克·梅尔斯 Mike Myers 配音）不要忘记这个重要节日。对于一个怪物来说，圣诞节似乎是个不可理喻的节日。但是菲奥娜（卡梅隆·迪亚茨 Cameron Diaz 配音）和三个小宝贝殷勤期待的目光迫使史瑞克史无前例地准备圣诞夜派对。他按照书本笨拙地装饰，在家人的帮助下，温暖的小家总算布置得有模有样。当史瑞克准备为孩子们将圣诞故事的时候，驴子、大坏狼（Aron Warner 配音）、三只小猪（Cody Cameron 配音）、姜饼人（康拉德·弗农 Conrad Vernon 配音）、靴猫（安东尼奥·班德拉斯 Antonio Banderas 配音）等好友不请自来，史瑞克的小家顿时变得热闹起来。 然而，这似乎与史瑞克期盼的圣诞派对相去甚远……。Claire Lescot is a famous prima donna.
