Elsa has lived her life ...。去年、一人の日本人女性が、スイスで安楽死を行った。女性は重い神経難病を患い、自分らしさを保ったまま亡くなりたいと願っていた。患者の死期を積極的に早める安楽死は日本では認められていない。そんな中で、民間の安楽死団体が、海外からも希望者を受け入れているスイスで安楽死することを希望する日本人が出始めている。この死を選んだ女性と、彼女の選択と向き合い続けた家族の姿は、私たちに何を問いかけるのか見つめる。。
