隶属于警视厅搜查一课“特命搜查对策室”第6系的热血刑警矢代朋（波瑠饰），与擅长文字解读的高智商前辈鸣海理沙（铃木京香饰）以及主任草加慎司（远藤宪一饰）一起来到京都府警拜访。3天前，在京都市内发生了一起奇怪的事件，在死者咖啡店老板武村勇介的遗体上，发现了3个汉字连在一起的红色墨水写下的“男”字。奇怪的是，5年前在东京都内也有两名IT界人士相继被杀，在各自的现场留下了“虫”和“品”的红色墨水文字，至今仍是未解决的案件。 在事件现场留下的，朋和理沙注意到了现场留下的都是三个汉字连在一起的“品”形文字。她们认为很有可能是凶犯时隔五年再次犯案。尽管这一猜想被上司否定，朋和理沙仍然没有放弃，继续寻找着时间的真相。 就在这个时候，她们得知了被杀的武村在4,5年前曾就职于最大的软件公司这一线索。而且，武村被杀的两天前，与该软件公司的社长有过会面。为了进一步搜寻...。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
