改编自1930年代英国真实事件，一位牧师莱纳斯（约翰·赫夫南饰）被教会任命为代理牧师，他带着妻子玛丽安（杰西卡·布朗·芬德利饰）与女儿小爱搬进一座神秘庄园。 但在他们入住这间屋子不久后，奇怪事情接二连三发生，除了在半夜会听见呢喃声，还会看见陌生的修道士身影，女儿小爱的行为也越来越陌生，随着被骚扰的次数越来越多，莱纳斯和玛丽安不得不寻求著名的捉鬼专家哈利（西恩·哈里斯饰）帮忙。 他们必须一起揭开真相，找出这栋房子的超自然力量还有它可怕且惊人的过去……。In a small rural community local police officers Zoe and Patrick begin their shift as normal but it soon becomes clear that something is wrong. Strange events unfold before their eyes, residents begin behaving strangely and mass suicide panic spreads amongst the community they are trying to protect. Zoe and Patrick realise they are under siege from alien machines as they become...。
