马大帅是土生土长的马家堡村民，因自作主张把女儿马小翠许配给村长儿子，遭遇女儿逃婚，只得进城找女儿。马小翠投奔的是在娱乐城当保镖的自家舅舅范德彪，而马大帅进城后却遭遇一系列倒霉事，丢了钱包地址，只得流落街头当街卖艺，又被抓到拘留所。范德彪得知后前来解救马大帅出来，带他去娱乐城，见到已经在歌舞厅打工的马小翠，但马小翠执意不肯回去，马大帅只好留下打工替小翠还彩礼钱，一系列啼笑皆非的故事随着马大帅进城而展开……。Season 3 will pick up three years after the events of the Season 2 finale, in which Susan was made partner, but much of the rest of the team split off for new pursuits.
